Visited a 1925 Conover Grand piano last week for the first time. There was a bass string that rattled because of a loose winding. So I decided to remove that loose winding by pulling on the bitter end with needle-nosed pliers To my surprise it cinched up tight, thereby eliminating the rattle. I added some CA thick glue to keep it in place. I took a pic of that fix plus a few other pics to share that I felt were interesting. #2011
