The photos should be fairly self-explanatory. First, the harpsichord is shifted on the stand to the right, leaving enough stand exposed to support the instrument when it is tilted onto its side. Tilting is done simply by lifting the treble keyboard side. The tail is shifted to be supported fully by the stand. The keyboard side is shifted until it is past the stand brace, so it will clear that brace when the tail is lowered. A support of some kind (bench, chair) is placed next to the tail. The tail is lowered onto it. The dollie is placed next to the keyboard side. The keyboard side is lowered onto the dollie. The bench is removed from under the tail. Reverse the procedure to place the harpsichord back onto the stand.
