A home made string level, constructed from brass stock and a cheap pocket level. This design allows you to see the level above the capo, to place it on the unison next to the strut (unless that unison is partly under the strut), and to use an efficient process to do string leveling with minimal picking up and putting down of tools and devices. Also a home made string hook, made from a dowel and music wire, used to pluck the strings and to pull them up.
