An Excel spreadsheet (though built in MSWorks) for entering all mileage, including mixed business and personal trips. Can also indicate out of town trips, by using an asterisk before the date in the date field. i.e. *1/5-7.. For "where" use one or two letters.. "Personal" (partial or total) will auto calculate. At the beginning of the year, enter your odometer reading in "start miles" and at the end of the year remove the auto-filled mileage from the next line. Business and non-business miles will self-total. Add that year's IRS mileage allowance, and you're done. Shaded fields are formulas. Empty the form by deleting unshaded fields.
