An easy device to make for the purpose of leveling strings. It leans forward on the keybed, via the counterweight, to contact the strings. It can contact the strings precisely at the strike point, without damper removal, and can get at all unisons. It is touchy to use, as you need to be certain it is at right angles to the strings of the unison - the counterweight should be in line with the strings. It stays in contact with the strings while you pull up or push down on strings, making leveling more efficient.
