The springs are a bit weak, but are responding to my tightening them a bit. I am feeling a very slight bump, but this is much better than what was there previously...which was nothing at all. Thanks Wim

Yes, but the springs might be weak, and you can only turn the screws in so far. Try a couple, and if that's not doing the job, you will need to remove each wippen and manually tighten each spring a little. I can't remember exactly how that's done, but I think if you look at it, you'll be able to figure it out.

So I am working on a 70 year old Baldwin Hamilton. Someone has replaced the hammers and the shank..looks like in the 80s-90s, but neglected to perform any sort of regulation. In strengthening the rep spring, I am guessing that I just need to turn the screw on the top here clockwise a bit?
