Dear Professor Norsworthy-

The interval of a double octave is called a fifteenth (15th).

Count the keys and see.

A sixteenth would be two octaves and one note (major or minor 16th).

Fixed typo. Ed, are you actually interested in the substantive part, the results of the tuning and the sound? Let's hear an alternative, perhaps!
