Exhibits all the signs of expanding action brackets. Spread measured 114mm, which is close, but attempts to regulate a couple of notes, as a test, were not giving acceptable results.

What is the current preferred source of replacement brackets?

You can get the official ones from Vincent Choi (info@pal-sound.com).  I've also used the Supply88 3d printed ones and they worked perfectly well.  There's not much cost difference between them; I'd happy use whichever is in stock at the moment.

I just did this job a few months ago using the Supply88 3-D printed brackets. I was very happy with the results.

I used Supply 88 and they where excellent. Less expensive than the ones made of metal. Read directions carefully and be prepared to drill holes as well as chisel a small amount of wood where the end bracket feet are seated

Thank you, everyone, for your replies. Most helpful. Last time, (several years ago), I think I got them from Vincent but it was not an easy quest, and I think he told me he was running out and didn't expect any more. I think I'm going to give the Supply88 brackets a try.

I spoke with Vincent Choi in January at NAMM and he said he has the action brackets available, he had recently received a shipment.
