    Wow,

I've been using something similar to this quick hot pot for many years. Drill a hole in the top lid and insert a thermometer for accurate water temps. For dispensing hot hide use Pianotek's 'Glue Injector' (part #GI-2) which can rest inside the pour spout of the hot pot. Store unused glue in the syringe for future glue sessions.

    Thanks Lyle,
I also like the syringe idea.

I use a temperature controllable personal coffee warmer, it works very well for me (it was a Christmas gift from a client who probably never dreamed what I would actually use it for!).

    Les,

That is a COOL pot. I like it. That's what I'll be getting when mine finally fails (probably not too far away).

I have a cheap single burner electric stove that I put a stainless steel pot half filled with water.  I use a 1/2 pint canning jar with a 1 inch hole cut into a lid for my glue and replace the lid with an intact one after use to store it in a refrigerator.  I made a holder for a cooking thermometer that lets me monitor the temperature and I set it to 140° F.

The water bath is convienent to dampen a rag to clean up any excess glue.

I have also had good luck with a coffee cup on an electric cup warmer.

Thank you Blaine.  Yes a rag for excess glue is also nice to have available.
