Has anyone had trouble with PTG messages automatically going to junk mail? My computer has been doing that for a few weeks now. I didn't change any settings; it just started, and I don't know how to fix it. I've just been moving all the emails back to my inbox. Yesterday were 28 PTG emails that I had to move.  I get my emails delivered in real time.

Same problem here. I now check spam every time I check emails (several times a day) on the advice of the main PTG office.

Re: emails to Spam or Junk:
Do you have PTG in your contacts? Make sure you have the From address that's on the emails that went to Spam in your contacts. Unrecognized (i.e. unlisted) addresses tend to go to Spam.

    Mark,

Good suggestion. I didn't have the home office in my contacts. So, I only entered the main PTG email address. I trust that one listing would cover the multiple sources of PTG email (CAUT, Pianotech, regions, etc., etc.).

Thanks for the tip. I hope it works.

I intentionally send it to my spam folder because it was cluttering up my normal email and I couldn't stop it no matter what I tried. So I simply identified it as spam and now that's where it goes. I only read it here.

I use a filter to send all the emails I receive from the home office to their own folder. The two email addresses I filter out are ptg@ptg.org OR mailman-owner@ptg.orgI filter the emails coming from PTG's forums (email address DoNotReply@ConnectedCommunity.org) to their own folder as well. That overrides the spam mechanism on most email clients.

Having a type of email identified by someone as spam means that Google takes the hint and puts it in others' spam too.

    Frustrating.

    Best wishes
