    Collogues:

When I first got into this business, I acquired a Sohmer Model 50 grand as a cadaver, rescuing it from the estate of one of our departed brethren, who had managed to tear it down and put the pieces in boxes before he passed away.  Only after completing the restringing, the action work and the pedal work did I discover that its music desk did not make it to my shop.  Anyone know of a source for salvage or have some suggestions for replacement?  I'm not adverse to modifying an existing desk. Advice will be appreciated. No snarky jokes.

Ask David Hughes if he would be interested in making one for you.  443-522-2201

Spoke to this person once he makes all manner of music racks and stands. At the time, the price he quoted me sounded pretty good.

If all else fails you can make one. I 3D printed this one (and the brackets). If I had a bigger CNC machine I could have made it out of wood.
