    HI-

Does anyone know what is going on with Schaff Piano right now?  The website store is shut down and does not work, no one answers the phone and they are not returning messages.  I've been trying to place an order for a week now.

    thanks,
    d.

The rollout of their newly updated website was very buggy. It seems to be functioning now.

I did the change of password when it was still buggy. When I went to the website and clicked on the web store link it led to an error message and no ability to log in.

And then yesterday I visited again and the home page had changed. It now has a log in button up top and no separate web store link. My login (generated strong password) had saved by Safari apparently under netsuite rather than Schaff, so I couldn't find it, so had to do another password reset ("forgot password")

Once that was done, everything seems to be functioning OK. Search seems much better. There is apparently a choice of shipping methods and you are told up front what that will cost. I haven't explored beyond that.

When I just tried the web site, there was no link to the 'Web store.'  www.schaffpiano.com takes me to a new home page that allowed me to search for an view catalog items, including quantity in stock.  There are no prices, and not ability to place orders directly.

I tried to log in to my account, but it had no method for updating the login as others have mentioned.

Their phones seem to be rather tied up as well, so I guess patience is in order here while they get things sorted out.  I left them a message.

They've recently sent emails about their "new website" and how to access it. I had to change my password...

I got through by phone, and was able to get things straightened out.

At first, the version of their home page that was stored in my computer's cache came up, and clicking on the webstore link took me nowhere.  I can no longer bring that page up to retrace my steps, but there was a link, probably something like "browse products" that I clicked, and I was taken to the new site.  There was a login link at the top of the screen which took me to my login screen.  At that screen I typed my email and then chose the "forgot my password" link.  I needed again to enter my email address, and from there received an email that I was able to use to get things properly set up.

I too have been trying for the past week..."nuttin".

    Phones are down also.

I did see where they have a new, larger facility. I wonder if this is growing pains????

    It is working for me.

If you end up at the homepage that has the word "webstore" in the upper right quadrant of the screen, don't click there.  A little lower on the left there is a link, something like "view products".  That should take you to a new page with a "login" option on the upper right.  That get me where I need to go.

    Hi-
I did finally get through.  There was an email to the new site, which I did not get earlier, but supposedly is good now.  There are several products not included on the new webstore and I had questions. but they can help with that when you get through. They are understandably busy.  The old home page will only send you to the old webstore, so you need to access the link from that email invitation and set up a new pswd.

    Good luck!

I finally attempted to log in and was successful.
Fortunately, my old password is still valid.

One big issue (among many with SPS) is no retention of order history.
Things I routinely order I will not need to search for. I have not shopped yet,
but hopefully it is not the mess that it used to be.
