My Father was and a student of William Braid White in 1950. So I grew up in around pianos. I worked in my fathers shop as a young boy and in 1972 began work as his apprentice. He owned a Yamaha dealership at that times. There began my love of restoration which fed my creative gifting. My entire family is musical and tone and sound for me was intuitive and natural. My Dad took me to many tunings as a child and the sound of 4ths and 5ths and the rest became ingrained. He taught me the art of Aural stable tunings. He taught many others as well.
As time went on I became more entrenched and obsessed with creating my own tone my own & branding and pursued intensive studies of hammers, tone, & Soundboard work. Installing over 100 boards to date, It has been a fantastic journey, and I have experienced oceans of opportunity's I never dreamed of. Creating a piano that takes musical sound to a new level & one that musicians dream of and deserve is my utter pleasure and satisfaction. For me,...to hear these types of instruments loved and played in concerts is the icing on a professional cake.
