In 1965, I started tuning pianos in my father's
piano store in El Paso, Texas. In 1980, I received
personal instruction from W. Dean Howell, who
conducted my testing at UTEP and recommended my entrance into the PTG as an RPT in 1982.
During that time, my services were requested by
UTEP Special Events Center, which at that time
featured such stars as John Denver, Bob Seger,
Wayne Newton, Andy Williams, and Kenny Rogers.
