Ray Chandler has spent the past 40+ years in retail and wholesale positions of the piano industry. In addition to owning a successful retail piano store, he was the first technical director for Young Chang America and subsequently technical director for Kawai America, as well as district sales manager. He retired from Yamaha Corporation of America in 2015 as senior technical manager with more than 15 years in sales and marketing services for Bösendorfer USA..
Chandler is a magna cum laude graduate with a degree in music, followed by technical apprenticeships in London, York, and Steinway NY. He is a past vice-president of Natonal Piano Foundation, past president of National Piano Travelers Assn., and is listed in Who's Who in the West and Who's Who in California.
