Born in Yonkers, NY. Raised in Bradenton, FL. Tom Durante was always involved with music through Middle and High School. In college Tom pursued Music Composition, and studied a variety of subjects, culminating in an associates degree from Manatee Community College with a certificate of musical skills and performance, and eventually a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Florida State University College of Music in Liberal Arts Music, with focuses in Composition, Digital Music, African Music, Cultural Anthropology, Photography, and a certificate in Russian Language through a study abroad program with the Moscow State University. After his time at FSU he went on to pursue interests in Piano Technology at The Chicago School for Piano Technology, earning the Basic Curriculum certificate, and the Advanced Curriculum Certificate in Rebuilding. He is now located in Bradenton, Fl starting up his Tuning/Repair Business.
