After earning a Performance degree from the Berklee College of Music, Gavin trained as a piano technician in Boston.
For nearly a decade, Gavin worked in New York City and served a wide clientele, including retailers of Yamaha, Baldwin, Petrof, Bechstein and Samick Pianos.
In his contract work for various recording studios and performance spaces around New York, Gavin was fortunate to have serviced pianos for artists such as Lang Lang, Phillip Glass, Harry Connick Jr., Norah Jones, and John Legend, to name a few.
Gavin is now the Showroom and Field Service Technician at Baldassin Pianos, the region's exclusive retailer of Fazioli, B??sendorfer, Schimmel, Estonia, and Yamaha concert series pianos. He provides complete piano service to Utah and Salt Lake and Davis counties.
