With over 40 years experience as a technician, Dan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Alaska, Hawaii and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He has studied at the Yamaha School and the C.F. Theodore Steinway Academy in New York and is a Registered Piano Technician (RPT). Dan has provided concert services for the Spanish Fort Steinway Gallery, Maui Conservatory and institutions from Alaska to the east coast of the US. He has toured as a technician with numerous artists including Olga Kern, Chick Corea and George Winston. He is a very dedicated musician with a Bachelor's degree from the Furman University School of Music. His band, The Dan Mac Band was chosen top jazz band in Alaska on Reverbnation.com and he was chosen top Anchorage jazz musician for 2012. Dan has recorded over 20 CD's since 2000. He was a music educator for several years before transitioning to a full-time concert piano technician. Throughout the years Dan has been refining his skills as a jazz pianist and can often be heard playing his own original compositions after a tuning!
