As owner of Mr. Piano Tech in Florida, Michael Barrett, not only grew up around pianos but his family owns and operates the friendly local music store and Yamaha and Pearl River dealership, Parramore Music. He began his business in the summer of 2005 and hasn't looked back since. Michael has extensive training and experience through the American School of Piano Tuning, the Piano Technician's Guild, and Yamaha's "Little Red Schoolhouse" which is through invitation only and has made him an Authorized Yamaha Piano Technician and an Authorized Yamaha Repair Center. He is also a Certified Dampp-Chaser installer, an RPT (Registered Piano Technician), and is registered as a Master Craftsman with the Master Piano Technicians of America (MPT).
